Criteria for Application:
High school graduating seniors who live in Sumter, Marion, or Lake Counties, in Florida, who have demonstrated evidence of ALL of the following are eligible to apply:
- Accomplishments in extracurricular sewing (does not include knitting and crochet)
- Leadership Skills
- Community service activities
- Commitment to continuing education
The QGOTV Scholarship Application is available beginning in October for the following year’s graduating seniors. The application deadline is March 31st each year.

- One page essay as described in the Application for Scholarship Award
- Supporting documents/photo’s relating to your sewing achievements
- Two letters of reference from non-family members who have known you for at least two years.
Must include name & contact numbers for references.

It is the applicant’s responsibility, not the guidance counselor’s, to download, complete the application and mail the application in a timely manner (allow 5-10 business days) to arrive by the deadline date of March 31st each year.
